Eat & Drink Your Way Along Hastings Street

2016-05-06 18.04.32-1

A trip to Noosa wouldn’t be complete without many visits to the iconic Hastings Street, an amazing strip of food, drink and fashion! With countless trendy cafes serving up delicious coffee and acai bowls, to authentic Mexican and Italian spots that will transport you around the globe, Hastings Street is your one stop spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks during your stay at Noosa Caravan Park.

We’ve mapped out our favourite spots, so get ready to eat and drink your way along Hastings Street!

Brekky

Start the day the right way with a delicious brekky, and no breakfast is complete without a coffee! Our first pick is 10 Hasting Street, a boutique resort in the centre of Noosa with an awesome little café attached open to guests and visitors. They dish up an epic acai bowl and the salted caramel cold press coffee is to die for.

If you’re after something a bit healthier, Coconut Head has you covered. Think superfood smoothies, chia seed cups, kombucha and raw vegan cakes! Everything they serve is raw, plant-based and free from all the nasty stuff. You can even build your own poke bowl!

Time for Lunch

A trip to Noosa isn’t complete without a classic burger from Betty’s Burgers! Now popping up all around the country, Betty’s serves up classic American-style burgers with a soft bun and classic fillings. If you’re feeling extra peckish, stack it up with extras, and finish it off with their famous ‘concrete’, AKA soft serve ice cream!

A feed from the local surf club is almost a right of passage on the Sunshine Coast and the Noosa Surf Club is one of the best. Get in early, grab a window seat and watch the world go by as you feast on great pub food and a cold beer.

It’s Dinner Time

After a long day spent lounging in the sun and wandering in and out of the water at the beach, it’s time for some dinner! With a reputation for serving up some of the best pizzas in Noosa, El Capitano’s organic sourdough pizza bases are fermented for 72 hours and the topping are all about quality. The little ones will be well taken care of too, the kids’ menu actually folds into a pirate hat, is there anything cooler than that?!

From Italy to Mexico, Paradise Arcade is your one stop destination for all things Mexican! With margarita’s on tap, authentic grilled fish tacos and giant Frida Kahlo murals decorating the walls, you can’t go wrong with a meal here. With sprawling outdoor space and a lofted interior, this is the place to be on a warm summer night.

Finish the Day off with a Drink

We couldn’t not include our favourite evening spot for a cheeky cocktail, and Bistro C is just that! In the perfect spot right opposite the beach, you could spend hours pouring over their extensive cocktail, wine and beer list. We can’t go past their Watermelon Margarita’s for a hit of freshness on a warm summer evening, you’re on holiday’s after all!
