Noosa Main Beach

Considered as the heart of Noosa, with a fine sand beach and the bustling Hastings Street across the road from your beach spot, Noosa Main Beach is the go-to spot for tourists visiting town. There is a laid-back attitude to this area which makes it the perfect place for days where you just want to laze around. The ocean is calm and clean, making it great for families with young kids and is patrolled by lifeguards all-year-round. The gentle waves also makes way for beginner surfers, with plenty of places to rent a board or sign up for some surfing lessons with Noosa Surf Lessons.

Tea Tree Bay

Be rewarded with stunning views of the ocean and eucalyptus trees as your backdrop, as you take a short walk from the entrance of Noosa National Park. Home in one of Australia’s favourite National Park with an area of more than 4,000 hectares, they are several hidden beaches you can find along the way for you to discover. The first beach along the main walking track is Tea Tree Bay, and is the most popular beach in this Park due to its close proximity to the entrance.

Little Cove Beach

Surrounded by lush trees, this hidden away cove is a 5minutes walk from Hastings Street, on your way to Noosa National Park. A hidden spot which tends to be quieter than Noosa Main Beach, here you can rest, relax and recover on this secluded paradise.

Don’t forget to pack your snorkelling gear, at high tide the sand is covered, and the cove transforms into a swimming pool, crystal clear on a good day! Rock pools can be discovered during low tides, and the gentle shallow waters is perfect for kids too.

Sunshine Beach

Time for the last spot on our list of Noosa’s Best Beaches. Looking for a quiet beach spot with a 15km stretch of golden sand all to yourself? Drive over to Sunshine Beach. There are also amazing surf breaks here, situated between Noosa National Park, all the way to Maroochydore River and Twin Waters.

Sunshine has a number of beach access, with the main one available next to the Sunshine Beach Surf Club, off Duke Street. Plus, there are dog friendly areas further north.
