Your Insta-Worthy Places In Noosa

Planning a trip to the beautiful area of Noosa (and Noosa Caravan Park)? Here’s 5 places you have to tick off your Instagram bucket-list!

1. Fairy Pools

Located inside Noosa National Park, this is probably the most Instagram-ed spot in the whole of Noosa. The Fairy Pools are two natural tidal rock pools off the track past Granite Bay. Just imagine crystal clear waters (though we can’t guarantee it will be warm!), and the serene sound of ocean surrounding you in your very own private pool. It’s a short 30-mins walk from the car park so don’t forget to bring plenty of sun cream.

We highly recommend you get there early to avoid the crowds during the weekend and peak times!

2. Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout

With minimal effort for an Insta-worthy shot of the hinterland and over Noosa, Mt Tinbeerwah is the perfect sunrise or sunset spot offering 360-degree views. Located inside Tewantin National Park, a short drive from Noosa, the 1 km hike up to the top can be done in 15-mins and is perfect for all fitness levels.

3. Cooloola Sand Patch

Though not technically in Noosa, you can find the most epic sand dunes in the remote area of Cooloola – about a 90-mins drive from Noosa and our caravan park. It also happens to be the largest coastal sand dune in Australia standing at 221 metres above sea level.

4. Noosa Everglades

The beautiful Noosa Everglades are a popular choice for those who want to go off the beaten track from Noosa’s main highlights. As Australia’s only Everglade system, this place offers one-of-a-kind adventure, with plenty of worthy shots for your Instagram #doitforthegram.

5. Sunrise at any beach

In case you haven’t noticed, the long stretches of beaches are all east-facing, which means we have some of the best sunrises in Australia. Yes, set your alarm early and head towards any beach for unforgettable views as the sun rises – we promise it will be worth it! And while you’re up early – take in the peace and quiet before the crowd rushes in.
