Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival 29th-2nd November 2008
Wednesday 29th October - Sunday 2nd November, 2008  The Noosa Triathlon Multi Sport Festival is steeped in rich history and uniqueness not matched anywhere in the world. The festival is brought together with an irresistible mix of sport and entertainment coupled with sun, sea and surf in one of Australia’s most popular destinations. The weeklong festival of swimming, cycling, running, triathlon events for everyone from 7-80+, two golf tournaments (celebrity and corporate), massive sport and lifestyle expo, corporate/VIP facilities, a Miss and Mr Noosa Model Search and a serious after Party you’ll also need to train for.
The highlight of the festival is the triathlon which draws 5,500 triathletes each year to the Olympic-distance course (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run). The Noosa Tri is the 3rd largest triathlon in the world only surpassed by London and Chicago.
Supporting events on the program include: Eyeline 1000 Noosa Ocean Swim – past winners include Grant Hackett and Kieren Perkins. Asics 5km Bolt – past winners include Sonia O’Sullivan and Craig Mottram, the Noosa Cycling Criterium featuring the likes of Tour de France stage winners Robbie McEwen and Cadel Evans.
Add a whole host of high profile personalities for celebrity spotting and its little wonder spectator numbers swell to more then 30,000 with a total of 8,500 competitors across all events.

Thursday 12th - Sunday 22nd March, 2009  Already a permanent fixture on Surfing Australia’s annual calendar, the Noosa Festival of Surfing aims to cement its international status as a benchmark surf-lifestyle festival located in one of Australia’s most popular tourism destinations - Noosa, Sunshine Coast.
USM Events, in conjunction with its major event partners and the Noosa Malibu Club, looks to introduce more cultural elements to the Festival program, broaden the competitive disciplines, feature a stellar line-up of music and entertainment as well as showcasing some of Australia’s biggest industry brand and product names, all in one centralised hub.
In addition, with the commitment of the surfing industry to sustaining the beautiful beaches and coastlines of the world, the NFoS will attempt to adopt an enviro-conscious attitude with the hope of establishing permanent guidelines for future events in Noosa; better recycling, better fuel efficiency, better waste management, etc to keep it clean and green.

Dingo Creek Jazz & Blues Festival 18th - 19th April 2009
Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th April, 2009 Situated just north of Noosa it is a weekend not to be missed. Noosa Blue Water Swim 17th May 2009
Sunday 17th May, 2009  Now in its sixth season, the Noosa Blue Water Swim is gaining momentum with each passing year and continues to win over swimming enthusiasts looking for a great destination event heading into the more temperate season – and what better place to escape then Noosa. The now famous annual event takes advantage of Noosa’s fabulous climate, sublime lifestyle and relaxed atmosphere.
You can be part of the Noosa Blue Water Swim by competing in either the 2km Noosa Blue Water Swim from Tea Tree Bay around the headland to Noosa Main Beach or the 1km Ocean Swim from Little Cove to Main Beach. If you think those distances are a bit out of your league then we have the 500m Splash and Nipper Challenge along Noosa Main Beach.
2km Noosa Blue Water Swim Start from the pristine beaches at Tea Tree Bay, enjoying the swim past beautiful bays to Noosa Main Beach. Numbers are strictly limited.
1km Ocean Swim Start at Little Cove and swim to Noosa Main Beach.
500m Splash & Nipper Challenge Swim along Noosa Main Beach: A swim designed for the kids and novice swimmers.

Noosa Jazz Festival - 3rd - 6th September 2009
Thursday 3rd - Sunday 6th September, 2009 Recognised as one of Noosa’s premier events and one of Australia’s most popular Jazz industry gatherings, the Noosa Jazz Festival brings together over 150 Australian and international artists, producing an impressive 4-day Jazz spectacular.
Artists perform in over 20 of Noosa’s favourite restaurants as well as in purpose-built jazz venues. All Noosa visitors and local residents are invited to attend the numerous open-air concerts, performances, historical jazz feature-shows and daily free gigs to experience the huge variety of jazz our musicians have to offer.
The town comes alive as the estimated 25,000 locals and visitors enjoy the festivities.
The 2009 event will welcome new styles of Jazz from high profile, mainstream genres.
