Noosa Blue Water Swim
16 May, 2010 In May every year, a band of intrepid swimmers takes part in one of the richest ocean swims in Australia – the Noosa Blue Water swim. This is either 2km, 1km or 500m of open ocean swimming at its best – clear, clean, calm water and perfect temperature -not too hot not too cold in the Noosa weather. Many of these swimmers come back to Noosa, Australia year after year for this event. There is something special about the Noosa swim. Maybe it is the walk through the National Park to reach Tea Tree Bay, Noosa Queensland the starting off point. Maybe it is looking back along the headland and admiring the beautiful scenery along Noosa Heads. Maybe it is the finishing point at Main Beach, Noosa – one of the finest beaches on the Sunshine Coast or maybe it is just the friendly group of people who take part. Click here for more information.
